I refer to myself as a graphic designer by day and creative machine by night. Many of my best ideas come at an ungodly hour. My father used to tell me that "nothing good happens after midnight," I now respectfully disagree.

My desire to create started at the University of Texas at Austin in the College of Communication. While pursuing a degree in photojournalism, my interest in design sparked when I took an intro graphic design course then followed it up with a challenging graduate level design course. For seven years now, I've worked on a myriad of design projects--an artist using my computer as my canvas.

During and after college, my graphic art talent landed me a position with a non-profit organization where I worked for approximately three years creating culturally relevant print marketing materials. I continued to sharpen my design skills under the mentorship of a well-established and successful Austin-based graphic designer--to which I owe most of my training.

In 2004, I set my sights on establishing myself as an independent entity. I acquired a Powerbook G4, Adobe Creative Suite and a DBA for I LIVE TO CREATE. It had always been my ultimate dream to begin my own business, and now it is indeed a creative reality.
