I refer to myself as a graphic designer by day and creative machine by night. Many of my best ideas come at an ungodly hour. My father used to tell me that "nothing good happens after midnight," I now respectfully disagree.
My desire to create started at the University of Texas at Austin in the College of Communication. While pursuing a degree in Journalism, my interest in design sparked when I took an intro graphic design course then followed it up with a challenging graduate level design course.
During and after college, my graphic art talent landed me a position with a non-profit organization where I worked for approximately three years creating culturally relevant print marketing materials. I continued to sharpen my design skills under the mentorship of a well-established and successful Austin-based graphic designer--to which I owe most of my training.
For seven plus years, I've designed on a myriad of print pieces and web projects. That's why I live to create.
